RUNDLE, Audrey Louie, Flight Officer (4154, Women’s Auxiliary Air Force) - Chief of the Air Staff, Directorate of Radar - Member, Order of the British Empire - awarded as per London Gazette dated 1 January 1944. Public Record Office Air 2/8959, courtesy of Steve Brew, has citation.

"As Staff (Signals) Officer, Flight Officer Rundle has assisted in the development and introduction of highly specialised radar equipment for the Metropolitan air force. She has reached a high standard of technical skill and, by her enthusiastic work, has greatly assisted in the early introduction of these vital equipments into operational squadrons."
