there is only a brief note on this page:

The pilot completed his training and was later posted to 255 Squadron operating night-fighter Beaufighters on Malta. He rose through the ranks reaching S/Ldr but on 10th September 1943 he was lost off Malta. His body was never found. He was married to a lady from Leeds, Yorkshire but fellow air historian Mr Alan Clark has discovered he was probably South African by birth as he is commemorated on the Roll on Honour at the King Edward VII School, Johannesburg. My thanks to Mr Clark for additional information relating to the pilot.

Default GRAHAM, Robert Merton, Squadron Leader, Royal Air Force, Service Number 60526

Operations Record Book from the National Archives has the following entries:
    September 9, 1943:
"Twelve night operation patrols during the course of which ..... and S/L R. M. Graham and Sgt. G.P. Smith destroyed a Do.217 and damaged a Ju. 88."
    September 10, 1943:
"Thirteen night operational patrols. S/L R. M. Graham and Sgt. G.P. Smith missing. Their aircraft was reported to have crashed at 00.30 hours in the sea sixteen miles south east of Licosa Point."
I have additional information on S/L R. M. Graham if it's of interest.
