Default Air Crash 4th October 1945

On the 4th October 1945 17 ATS ladies died in, what I am advised, an air crash into the Mediterannean, no other location details are known, I understand that the aircraft was destined for UK.

Would anybody have details of such an incident including crew and any other passengers.

    Grateful for any info.

    Tony

    Hi Tony,

    Try this link.

    http://www.reffell.org.uk/heroes/heathercosens.php

It has details of the aircraft and the flight.

    Hi Tony,

No problem. On the right of the page there is a list of all the other casualties. Try doing a search one by one of their name and number in Google and see what else comes up.

I did already have the ATS names and will be doing a further search but one other bonus it threw up two Nursing Sisters that I already had a record of but had not connected them to the same incident. What would we do without the internet?

    Regards, Tony
