Spitfire crash

I recall seeing a reference to a (or perhaps a pair of) Spitfire crashing near Woodnook - near to Grantham, Lincolnshire, probably in period 1944 - 46.

Can anyone add a serial number (s) ?

Only WW2 losses I have specific to Woodnook, relate to a collision between 12SFTS Oxfords AB718 & AB666 on 20-Aug-42

However, given the proximity of the hamlet to Spitalgate, there could easily be others which have fell in the immediate vicinity of Woodnook, but which have been recorded merely as being 'near Spitalgate', within its circuit, or listed as Little Ponton (& Stroxton), the parish in which Woodnook itself 'hides' (if you've been there, you'll understand what I mean)
