Took off 2230 Mildenhall. Homebound at 500 feet, hit by flak and crash-landed 0246 at Kragelund, Denmark. Sgt Huggett was badly wounded in his thigh by shrapnel and he was taken to a field hospital at Schleswig. Sgt Marshall RNZAF was repatriated, arriving in England aboard the Arundel Castle on 6 February 1945.
