    Default F/O Edwin Creed, 129278, d. 31/5/43

May I ask if anyone can provide details of the fate of the above-named officer whose death was registered at Barrow-in-Furness.
An old thread on this forum mentioned him but the details given were not conclusive.
    Thanks in advance.

He was killed along with the rest of his crew following a collision between Anson LT778 and Martinet HP303 which landed safely. The Anson came down on the beach at Barrow in Furness.

The other crew members were 944162 CS Anderton, J Lenaghan, 1425168 F Wilson & H Hudson
