    Default Identification needed

This part of an (probably) RAF-airplane of the Second World War was recently found at the beach of Scheveningen, The Netherlands. It's now in the collection of the Atlanticwall Museum Scheveningen Foundation.

    1. Can someone identify what this part this ?
    2. And from wich type RAF-airplane is this part ?

    See the photo at:

    Thanks

A quick Google search shows that "RIBE 10K" (from the bolt heads) is associated with old BMW engine parts, including non-aeronautical uses. The numbering on the parts, particularly the number "1", appears more German than UK. Just a guess, however.
