    I am working on a book about the Me 262 including Leipheim Airport and met an eye-witness of the flak-down of

    above piloted mosquito PZ249 in the early morning of April 1945

    Hello Richard,

    your plans have already been anticipated and realized some years ago by a Mr. Remp who lives close to the crashsite. He has written a book and dedicated a complete chapter to this incident. I have contacted him some years ago, as well as his nephew Emile van Heerden, who lives in Japan.
