Hi,
Anyone know the Sqn code for this a/c I know it is NQ-? this if anyone can recall is one of the a/c involved in a collision over Broomhill/Redrow/Acklington (all within 2.5miles of eash other) I asked for Info on for 1940/41 winter. The collision involved L1734 (NQ-G) & L2066 (NG-?) on 18 Jan 1940, both pilots Sgt Mullinger RAF & Sgt Steeley RAF were both killed. many thanks Chris |

Hi Chris,
Regarding Sgt Steeley see: http://www.rafcommands.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=9195&forum=DCForumID6&archive=yes I corresponded with Sgt Steeley's great niece in 2006. Let me know if you wish to contact her for information and I will see if her old email address is still active. Lorraine |
