What caused the death of:
Sgt (Pilot) John H. HARGREAVES - 740208 - buried Grindleton (St.Ambrose) Churchyard, Yorkshire
(The Times 26-10-1939: Killed on active service)
and
Sgt (Pilot) Charley L.W. MASON - 741158 - buried Upavon Church Cem., Wilts.
(The Times 20-10-1939: Killed on active service).
Lost aircraft this day:
Harvard I - CFS - N7181 - crashed on take-off at night, Upavon
Blenheim I - 23 Sqn - L1424 - bellylanded at Digby
