Ever wondered what were the most often awarded decorations in WW2 for the Air Forces?
Following is an extract of the numbers awarded. Mentions-in-Dispatches are the most numerous and most would be surprised to know that the DFC which is next tops the list. DFMs are 30% of the DFC Total and AFCs are just around 10% of the DFCs awarded.
Everything else is a small subset of these the totals for the top two.
