RAF WW2 War Dead (CWGC)

This is a database of all commonwealth airforces casualities in the Second World War. The data is taken from the CWGC site. This tool helps you to easily search for a casuality based on partial name or number, exact date or year of death, or even to locate by cemetary or by unit. The data is being populated with the Unaccounted Airmen/Airwomen project and the goal is to have a cause of death for every record

RAF Serial Numbers

A database of all RAF aircraft serial numbers. Currently this covers the J - ZZ series that were active from the 1930s till date. This tool helps identify the possible aircraft based on the serial number patterns. The data in this page is based on this forum post made by Ross McNeill and by the book on RAF serials by Bruce Robertson. Data for series A - H are not on this page. RAF POW and Evaders List

Original List by Ross McNeill, being worked on by Peter Davies, and inputs from Rob Davis. This is a database of all commonwealth airforces POWS in the Second World War. The primary data is taken from the Ross McNeill's lists. The PoW names are in alphabetical order and include RAF/RAAF/RCAF/RNZAF/SAAF and Occupied Countries aircrew. Rob Davis has provided a list of Evaders.

AIR/78 Index

by Dennis Burke. Index to airmen and airwomen’s service records held in AIR 79. The microfilmed slips contain name and RAF service number only. This index is not 100% complete. The great majority of the original index slips were microfilmed, however there is a small number of random gaps, where a slip had been lost prior to filming.
