There are 57105 Records in this Database
The basis of this data comes from the files of Henk Welting. Late Henk Welting lost his struggle with life and passed away in 2012. Henk was a prolific member of the RAFCommands Forum with a mission to document the causes of death of many of the unsung airmen of the Second World War. His posts on Unaccounted airmen/airwomen has had a marked effect on the site and his work is continued as part of the CWGC Unaccounted Airmen Database. As part of his Database, Henk maintained a loss database with the bare details - over 40,000 aircraft losses. That secondary data is presented here
Subsequently the data has been augmented with data from the Coastal Command Forum as well as with Air Britain Crash Logs
