What were the places of death registration for:

A - Died on active service:
Lac Sidney H. BRETTEN (Flight CC 292: BRETTON) - 1262315 - age 44;
AC1 Maxwell C. ELSDEN - 1230977;
Sgt Henry J.R. FISHER - 1330942;
LAC Harry FULLER - 1454304, and
AC1 Roy HORNE - 1715948.

B - Not found in Flight Global:
W/O Lewis EDMUNDS - 621577 - DFM.

C - Proposed aircraft losses in case W/O W/O Edmunds might have been killed in a flying accident:
Beaufighter I - T4782 - 2 (C)OTU - crashed on take-off Catfoss, Yorkshire.
Master I - T8450 - 5 (P)AFU - crashed on landing Chetwynd.
Tiger Moth II - T7869 - GPEU - flew into ground 3 miles NE of Devizes, Wiltshire.
Master II - DL341 - 5 (P)AFU - crashed on overshoot at night Ternhill, Shropshire.
Oxford I - DF501 - 1 BAS - crashed on take-off Kelmscott.
Anson I - LT448 - 2 (O)AFU - crashed in forced landing at night Wood Cottage, Ellingham, 5 miles W of Brunton.

D - Also looking for info on cause of death of:
F/Sgt Russ O. HUTCHISON - RAAF 408209, buried Bangladesh, Maynamati War Cem.

AUS408209 F/Sgt Russ Orlando HUTCHISON RAAF (Pilot, of No.31 Sqn. RAF), died of illness (Malaria), in No.92 I.G.H., Comilla on 31-7-1943. Buried 1-9-1943, Mynamati War Cemetery, Comilla, Bengal, India. Grave 3. B. 3.

Edmunds registered at Sleaford, Lincs, was he being carried in Blenheim L4933 at Harlaxton? Warner reports two injured.

Re EDMUNDS: No idea whether he was on Blenheim L4933. Warner in his 2nd Edition: 12 PAFU Mk.I - one engine caught fire in air, second lost power on approach to Harlaxton, crashlanded, DBF. Sgt S. REAH and crewman injured.

EDMUNDS, Lewis DFM - died of polio after being admitted to hospital. His son has written a biography on the Wartime Memories Project website:

Hello

Lac Sidney Harold BRETTEN - 1262315 - a family tree on ancestry.co.uk has a copy of his death certificate, which states that he died at Chase Farm Hospital, Enfield, aged 43, due to myocardial degeneration and chronic bronchitis.

UPGRADE to Winifred Ellen Knapp 2029508, she was killed, along with her newly wed husband, Gunner Ronald Knapp 1790563, attached to 570 Coast Artillery Regiment, RA, by a train as they walked along the line at Horsted Keynes on the way home from their wedding reception

The Saffron Walden Weekly News of 6 August 1943 reported that AC1 Elsden, who had played football for Cambridge Town before the war, died of pneumonia in the Canterbury Hospital on 31 July 1943.
