Hi Henk
Leman,22 is registered at Southampton(?Eastleigh),Bodimeade,20,Baldie,19,Dic kson,30 are all registered at Romford(Hornchurch),Kavanagh,24 is registered at Saffron Walden,(I think this means Debden). There are 2 possible William Wrights, one age 24 at Surrey N E and the other age23 is at Bromley(Biggin).
For Boddimeade 65 Sqn were sent to Turnhouse only on 27/8/40 from Hornchurch( Jefford RAF Sqns) so he could still have been in the S of England and possibly posted to another Sqn

Dick

Thanks Dick. I had WRIGHT's date of death 31th Aug., now checked CWGC-website and ascertained that this was Aug. 30th (age 22). So Bromley and Biggin Hill's air raid.
Regards,
Henk.

Hi Henk
If you check back to earlier queries I remember Surrey S E as being associated with another B-o-B airfield and the other Wright, at 24, is a possible for someone in the RAF at the time.so you might have an extra airman that even you haven't accounted for!!
All the Best

Thanks Dave,
But I got the number from a quick look in this forum's database.

Which is confusing.

P9497 has Wilcox and C16472411
But also has
P9497 with Everiss(RNZAF) and C16997653.

FCL vol 1 revised does have P9457 though, I missed that .

Too late to edit my first post.

Thanks
Alex
