Mentioned in Dispatches

A friend whose father was with Bomber Command during WW2 was TWICE 'Mentioned in Dispatches' after having been awarded the DFM.

How would he go about finding the citations that apply to them and the DFM?

Can you give us his name and we will find some of the wording where printed from the London Gazette (LG).

The MiD's won;t have citations in the London Gazette but the guys n gals on here will tell you where to find them.

The DFM may have a citiation in the LG or maybe in the Flight magazine archives.
