What were the places of death registration of:
A - Died on active service:
AC2 Edward H. STRIPP - 1610759.
B - Not found in Flight Magazine:
AC2 Charles S. DONNELLY - 853679, and
AC1 Alfred SIRDEFIELD - 1081540 - age 30.
C - Proposed aircraft losses:
Beaufighter I - T4653 - 9 (C)OTU - crashed on take-off Crossby.
Master I - T8659 - 7 (P)AFU - aircraft abandoned Priory Road, Westwood, Peterborough.
Oxford I - X6770 - RAFC - overshot landing Caistor RLG.
Proctor I - P6257 - 2 Radio School - undershot landing Townsend RLG, near Yatesbury.
Hamilcar I Glider - DR851 - AFEE - crashed on landing Sherburn-in-Elmet.

AC2 Edward H. STRIPP - registered in Flyde, Lancashire having died in hospital after being found unconcious the previous night, having apparantly fallen off his bicycle

And just to provide some niff-naff and trivia, I was born in Priory Road, Westwood, Peterborough, in 1936.
I regret, however, that by Aug 1943 we had moved to a nearby location (Edwalton Avenue) and I have to admit that at the age of 7 my recollections of aircraft prangs in the neighbourhood are not all that they might be. This I apologise for!!

Alfred Sirdefield 1081540 | attached to 27 MU | was killed in a road accident on Birmingham New Road at Coseley, Staffs. He was dead in arrival at the Royal Hosp Wolverhampton and was transferred to Coseley mortuary

Charles Swift Donnelly 853679 | a medically discharged Airman at the time of his death, was admitted to the Belmont EMS hospital, Liverpool on 18 June, dying of pulmonary tuberculosis
This Information was obtained via a visit to the Liverpool Archives which sadly proved the impractability of research in regional archives
