Hello,
On 02.02.37, Singapore III K3594 was lost during a night take-off, causing the death of at least one crewman. Does anyone know his name and his service number?
Also K4584 crashed on take off from Aboukir on 08.08.39 and 3 airmen were also killed. I'd appreciate to get their names and service number.
Many thanks in advance for any details provided.

Note here correct spelling of Steed's name.
'For Your Tomorrow - A record of New Zealanders who have died while serving with the RNZAF and Allied Air Services since 1915 (Volume One: Fates 1915-1942)':
Tue 8 Aug 1939
Middle East
Flight to ?
203 Squadron, RAF (Basra, Iraq)
Short Singapore III K4584 - hit sea wall on take off and caught fire at Aboukir, Egypt. AC1 W H Scott and a New Zealander were killed, while AC1 A A Shaw died of injuries two days later at the Ras el Tin Military Hospital, Alexandria. The other occupants were Sqn Ldr J R Scarlett-Streatfield, Plt Off P R M Williams, Cpls P Ingrey and J R Smith, and AC1s W N Arrowsmith and W H Ard, RAF, all of whom were slightly injured.
2nd Pilot(?): Sgt Leonard Clunie STEED, RAF - Age 26(?)
Steed had just been accepted for transfer to the RNZAF in connection with the proposed delivery of Wellington bombers to New Zealand.
Since the above was published in 1998 I have learned that Steed was born on 17 Jun 1912, so 26 was his correct age at time of death.
