Thanks Al and Andy for this excellent info. Very much appreciated. Again two names deleted from my (too) long 'unaccounted' list.

Alex,

DE SANDOVAL-SIEVIER, Robert Adrian - S/Lt(A) - HMS Daedalus - RN.
Lee-On-Solent Memorial, Hampshire.
Battle - L5010 - 103 Sqn RAF.
(CWGC has both 9th and 10th as date of death. Naval History. Net and Aircrew remembered both have the 10th as date of death).
>> The 103 Sqn ORB shows that L5010 was one of three aircraft on a mission to attack shipping in Calais harbour launched from Newton on the evening of 9 Sep 40:
P2306/D 1900/2330
L5336/J 1900/2315
L5010/C 1855/FTR
Given that the two returning aircraft arrived back before midnight, I think it is safe to conclude that the loss was on the evening of 9 Sep 40.
