What caused the death of and was the place of death registration for:

LAC Henry J. FLYNN - 630269 - 150 Sqn (Newton, Nottinghamshire) - died of wounds or injuries received on active service.

The death of Henry J Flynn aged 24 was registered at Wandsworth.

Thanks Andy. It could be that he was wounded in an accident 27-7-1940 at Newton arming Battle L5528 (a F/O, two Sgts and four groundcrew killed by exploding bomb).

The Middle Name J is a bit of a mystery - his RAF Air 76 is Henry Flynn but CWGC has H J Flynn

Robert Henry Gordon 943151, attached to 9 Squadron, was admitted seriously ill to RAF hospital Ely on 26 August at 17:00 hours. He died in the hospital at 22:40 hours of pulmonary tuberculosis .

The Chris Hobbs entry is totally erroneous
