Last one for now (still have a few to go though)
Not strickly RAF, but he was with London University Air Squadron in training at Halton. He baled-out of an aeroplane on July 21, 1936 which was in collision with another plane at Weston Turville. His plane crashed and the other aircraft did not crash and landed on one wheel at Upper Heyford.
It appears he did not go onto serve with the RAF but became a steam engineer
Can anyone ID a loss for this date, it may be a RAF type or Civilian type ??

For completeness Vic Smith on AB-IX came up with this
"According to The K File, Hawker Hind K5477 of 57 Sqn collided with Avro Tutor K3452 of University of London Air Squadron and crashlanded at Upper Heyford.
However the entry for Tutor K3452 does not mention the accident and the Tutor went to No.1 School of Technical Training on 24 Nov 1936, crashed in a forced landing (no date quoted) abd was SOC March 1937 with 8.25 hours flying time"
Rest of details fit
Note: Maybe the actually history of K3452 is it went to No.1 School of Technical Training as wreck and "crashed in a forced landing" is actually reference to this incident.

yes it is.. Friday 24 July 1936 , Bucks Herald , Buckinghamshire, England
"Broken fragments from the machine spread away from the farmyard, right across the road and into the fields on the opposite side from the farm. During the rest of the day, souvenir hunters in the neighbourhood were busy scouring the ground, and later on the smashed machine was removed by men from Halton, who, with the aid of saws and a crane, cleared the ground with great speed."
