A 'K Baldry' was involved in the loss of Miles Magister Mk.I, RAF 3 ERFTS at Bursledon, near Hamble, Hampshire on March 16, 1938. the info from AB Miles book is as follows
"The pilot was a Volunteer Reserve 'ab initio' pupil who had completed 2 hours an20 mins dual in a [Avro] Cadet and 9.25 hours dual and 1.25 hours solo in Magisters. After 30 minutes the pupil was ordered to carry out one circuit solo and land. The pilot allowed his aeroplane to enter a thick clound in which lost control and resorted to his parachute. He landed safetly."
I suspect strongly that 'K Baldry' is Kenneth Aldred Mackay Baldry who has a RAoC License on Ancestry - Can anyone please look it up to see if the detaisl match
