What caused the death of:

Lt/A (Pilot) Eldred G. BARROW - Royal Navy (HMS Hermes), from Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. Buried Freetown (King Tom) Cemetery, Sierra-Leone. May have flown a Martlet on HMS Furious.

Freetown (King Tom) Cemetery, Sierra Leone.
Died of Malaria.

GIBSON, Ralph William - AC1c - 637543 - RAF.
Southampton (St.Mary Extra) Cemetery, Hampshire.
Killed when his motorcycle collided with a lorry.

GREEN, George Robert Fleming - Cpl - 359012 - RAF.
Bristol (Canford) Cemetery, Gloucestershire.
Seriously injured in an Air Raid on the 25th. Died of his injuries at Southmead Hospital.

RUTTER, John Lewis - AC2c - 1162473 - RAFVR - STT.
Kings Norton (St.Nicholas) Churchyard, Warwickshire.
Killed in an Air Raid on RAF Henlow. But also noted as killed in a road accident in Redditch ?

RUTTER, John Lewis - AC2c - 1162473 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died 'on the main road from Birmingham to Redditch at Hopwood Alvechurch, Worcestershire.'

Rutter died In a road accident at the location stated. I'm currently working my way through the 17 Airmen unaccounted or poorly accounted from October 1940 BTW
