I have a subject who was posted to;

"No.1 (I) Wing (H/E)"

I know the what and where of No.1 (I) Wing - but any ideas about the (H/E)?

Are you sure it does not mean - Home Establishment and the guy in question is on his way back to UK?

Just a thought but I seem to remember we had a discussion about this sometime ago.

Thanks for that OD.
I did considered that but in his service records it falls on posting to India from Iraq and before posting to Kohat.
