Squadron photographs; 105 squadron 1937

Hello everyone,

Is there a source where squadron photographs are kept? I have been browsing the website of the National Archives and such but couldn't find anything....or perhaps I didn't look properly.

Perhaps someone can put me in the correct direction in finding the sqn photo mentioned in the title.

have you tried IWM Photoarchive. Part is available online but I recommend personal visit if possible.

Will certainly visit the IWM again in the future...did do a quick search of their online collection but didn't see the wanted photo.

Hi Sander,

An official squadron photgraph is extant at Hendon. I would suggest it is dated June 1941 as it includes Hughie Edwards, as well as all the air crew names.

I have a copy somewhere.

I'm so so sorry that I didn't answer to your reply. Haven't been on this forum in a long time. The pilot I'm researching was killed in 1940 so a squadron photo of later date wouldn't work for me. But again many thanks for your reply!!!
