All

There are two photos of the plane being salvaged in the Hull Daily Mail on July 3rd 1935. It is a Fairey Gordon !. It is being transferred from the Kernoozer to the pier at Bridlington and is very 'complete'

The serial is partially visible in one of the pictures and appear to K26?? and it has a 40 painted on the side it may be K2652??? or K2662

Can someone look up the serial in the K File for me? Or any in the list of Fairey Gordon I K2603 to K2649 to see if anything fits many thanks Paul

Hi Paul,
By day and by night, Aeroplane Monthly: 40 Sqn had K2625 and K2628. K2625 could have "C3" on the fin.

Hi Paul,
look at the photo "on the south pier at bridlington". There is Gordon K2699, 40 Sqn. Is it "your" plane from the Hull Daily Mail?

This is one I did not know about. Notthing in the ORB, of course.

I can't help with suggested crew, I am afraid.
