I just wondered what information it contains is it just initials and service numbers and period or does it give full names

Hi Paul,

I find the book most useful. It is mainly name intials and service number (not officers). With some mentions like deceased, further medals awarded etc.

I've found it more helpful in recent years, especially service numbers when used with the London Gazette online, war graves, flight etc.
