Does anyone know of a book (or on-line resource) similar to 'Avro Lancaster - the definitive record' by H Holmes, but on the Handly Page Halifax. That is provides the serial numbers, a brief history- year of manufacture -units used by and fate.
I'm much obliged.

Thanks Paul - I hadn't found that title before, but it looks as rare as hen's teeth!
Have a good new year.

Paul, it seems that you may find it for purchase on this webpage: http://www.transportstore.com/book.cfm/7039/926/The_Halifax_File_ROBERTS_RN_ed .
However the price offered is much too high in my opinion.

Greg

Thanks Greg,
I agree the price a bit too steep.

Dear Paul
It may be worth giving The Aviation Bookshop in Tunbridge Wells a call.
Alternatively you could always order a copy to borrow via your local library. There will be a small charge for this if there is not a copy in your own county, but it is well worth it. I have borrowed several books in the Air Britain series over the years when I have only needed a small amount of information and it was not worth buying the whole book.
Happy hunting
James
