I have a service certificate for a WO Twentyman who served with the RAF from 30th August 1927 to the 24th November 1956 (sewrvice number 561942).
In the book it states he was awarded the BEM military division, and I have been told that this was listed in the London Gazette on the 1.1.42, Page 28, however this issue is not online.
I was also told that his recommendation should be in the file AIR2/9575 at Kew, and I was wondering if anybody on the forum might have copied the file, or have come across him.
Any help would be great,
