Hi Henk
Fox,24,Greenhead,31, Heyes,24, Howells,21, Lister,22, H W Minahane,20, Webb,19, Wheatley,40, are all registered at Gipping in Suffolk. 110 Sqn had detachments in several places in Suffolk. Frank H H Fry,23 is registered at Edmonton on the N E edge of London.
I found a Frederick(not Thomas) G W Cason,27, at Gipping. I found 2 others in 2 Places!!, William R Lambe,21, at Gipping, and William R Lambe,26, at Coventry. There was also a Frederick Wright,26 at Gipping and another Frederick Wright,26 at Coventry. The big raid that devastated Coventry was not until the night of 14-15/11/40.
I didn't find Abley or Moran so possibly they died in Scotland

Hello Henk
LAC (Pilot u/t) ABLEY, Philip K aged 19 was killed in a flying accident at RAF Montrose at 1pm on the 1.11.40. Aircraft unknown.
The death of Thomas G Moran was registered at Ipswich. He was 19.
Regards
Andy
At 0715 hours on 1 Nov 1940, a low-flying Do 17Z dropped a stick of 50 kg HE bombs on RAF Wattisham. Bombs scored direct hits on three barrack blocks and the Station Married Quarters. One concrete floor collapsed onto the sleeping airmen on the ground floor, and damage was considerable. Nine (or 10, accounts differ) RAF personnel were killed, four were seriously injured and 15 slightly hurt.
A CD report gives the location as "Ringshall" in which parish RAF Wattisham is partly located.
BC
Abley was killed in a crash at Balandre Farm, Johnshaven, Kincardine on this date. I do not have an a/c accident that is relevant.

STROYNOWSKI, Tadeusz Romuald - Porucznik - P/76712 - PAF.
These two Polish Airmen rest at Manchester Southern Cemetery, Lancashire.
They were crew of Leopard Moth AV986 - 6 AACU.
This was a Short Scion Junior, as per: https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C16688160
Correct serial was AV981.
According to the relevant Air-Britain serials book, Leopard Moth AV986 was lost on 30Aug41 with 1 FPP, when it was blown into a wall by a gust on take-off from a forced-landing at Rushup Edge, Derbyshire.
I will amend our database accordingly.

BUBEL, Richard - GAF.
BUESCHER, Georg - GAF.
GEOHLICH, Kurt - GAF.
JUVAN, Joseph - GAF.
REINSBERG, Gerhard - GAF.
These five German Airmen rest at Cannock Chase German Military Cemetery, Staffordshire.
Bubel and Juvan were crew of He111P-2 1571 G1+JS of 8./KG55, shot down by AA fire over Essex.
I think the other three were crew of Ju88A-1 4145 L1+MB of 1./KG1, shot down by AA fire over Sussex. There seems to be a little confusion over the names of this crew.
