Hi Henk
An accident at Lyneham would probably be registered at Chippenham but if any on board were taken to hospital it would likely be RAF Wroughton, and a later death there would be registered at Swindon.
Regards
Dick
Dick/Henk
Lyneham was in the Swindon registration area at that time, see http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/

Gents,
AB 'Aeromilitaria' has for "3"-11-1940: Anson I - L7926 - 6 FTS - flew into high ground 3 miles NE of Lacock, Wiltshire. Could STEELE have been a casualty on this aircraft ?
Regards,
Henk.
Gents,
finger trouble again! The Lysander serial should read T1614.
