Hello gentlemen ,
I'm looking for documentation regarding two Sq15 losses in my area , I wonder if a fellow could help maybe with Ford-Jones' book " Oxford's own " in hand .
- Blenheim 3747 , lost 12 June 1940 , P/O Takideli's crew , all killed.
- Lancaster LL889 , lost 15 June 1944 , F/L Purry's crew killed , only F/S Robert Gilleade able to escape , but unfortunately there's no escape report at the National Archive.
Are there pictures of the above crews or any details ?
