Hi Eddie
Cwgc gives Horton as Dying on 15/11/40 and buried at Driffield Cemetery. I found him registered in the 4th Qtr of 1940, Aug would be the 3rd Qtr. It makes it possible that he was wounded in the Aug bombing ,and reported as a casualty, but died in Nov '40.

Dick

Well spotted Dick

The daft thing is I looked at my photo of his Headstone before posting and still got it wrong!! You are correct - injured and died later (he is on the memorial stone on the airfield detailing those who died as a result of the air raid)
