UK - STAGG

Staggg was injured in the crash of No.29 OTU Wellington LN159 on 2-4-1945 qv. He succumbed to his injuries on 3-4-1945.

The screened pilot of LN159, was AUS27178 F/O Reginald Gordon WATTS DFC RAAF, who also died. Bill Chorley (BCL7/337), has misidentified one of the trainee air gunners aboard LN159. The F/S McDermott mentioned by Bill, is in fact: AUS432696 Thomas Leo McDERMOTT RAAF, who was injured.
