George Wilfred Charles Hoskins 1423940 , attached to 125 Wing, was one of 3 Airmen in a 3 ton truck which accidently drove into German lines . The other Airmen were wounded and taken prisoner

Thomas Henry Shirt was flying in Catalina 240 J on a nickle sortie from Redhill Lake when the aircraft was hit by MG fire from the ground. He was mortally wounded and died before the aircraft could reach the nearest advance base
