MOOR, Peter - LAC - He died from injuries sustained when Lancaster III, PB463 EA-Y of No 49 Sqn, crashed at Fulbeck on 22 Apr 1945 after failing to pill out of a dive over the airfield prior to setting course for Syerston. It crashed into buildings near the MT section and a parade comprising personnel of No 5015 (Airfield Construction) Sqn.

Jassim Muhammad 8820 , attached to Number 6 Company died of an acute gangrenous appendix and peritonitis dying at 12:30 hours when his lungs congested. It was found he had complained of pains and problems for some time but had not presented himself for treatment

Sydney Goby 1353369 , attached to Number 72 Wing , was admitted seriously ill to Number 8 General hospital on 5 May where he died of a bleeding peptic ulcer

Frederick Ambrose Griffey 1421494 , attached to RAF Ballah , was to Number 1 General hospital on 5 May with intermittent epigastric pain and dizziness. He deteriorated after admission and by 6 May was semiconcious despite treatment including extensive transfusions, mand he died at 19:15 Hours of a chronic duodenal ulcer with heamorhage, toxic hepatitis and hypostatic pneumonia

08-May 1945 - Sgt HOWLAND, DOUGLAS HAIGH (528418); age 27 RAF - He was serving with No 6488 SE and was killed when he was knocked down by a Dutch Army lorry at Tilburg.

Ivan Sydney ( SIDNEY in his records) Cooper 1898221, attached to Number 3 Wing at RAF Madley , died in RAF Hospital Hereford, of a laryngeal obstruction due to a pharyngeal abscess.

He did NOT die in Anson EG704 as stated in this database, although the other Airmen currently associated with EG704, DID lose their lives in it

John Rutherford Barkway 631072 | was discharged from the RAF in 6 April but died in Manchester Royal Infirmary following an operation for osteohondroma
