Bradstock was not the pilot of NH437, he was one of the fatalities caused when this aircraft struck the lorry in which he was travelling. The other casualty is not named.
The pilot was Sgt W.Polowancywk, and he suffered critical injuries in the subsequent crash.

STACEY, Thomas Robert - died at RAF Charterhall, the result of a vehicle accident which caused multiple crushing injuries.

SUSSMANN, Harold Edward - the National Probate Calendar states that he died at Higher Hall, Whitchurch, Shropshire (now in Cheshire). Administration was to his widow, and Edward Walter Joseph, squadron leader R.A.F [service number 79595?]. A newspaper announcement on ancestry.co.uk states that he died as a result of an accident, as mentioned by Malcolm.

Sussmann was the other casualty from NH437, I came across an entry from early June in the 58 OTU ORB, which has his surname incorrect but close enough.

June 6th 1945, “A Court of Enquiry assembled to investigate an accident to Spitfire NH437 on 30th May 1945 involving the deaths of Flight Lieutenant H.E. Susson and Flight Sergeant Bradstock. President: Flight Lieutenant Harrison, Headquarters, No.12 Group.”

And this came from the Whitchurch station ORB:

May 30th 1945, “Ambulance called out to an aircraft Spitfire crash at Edge on the main Whitchurch Chester Road at approximately 12.20 hrs. The pilot Sgt Wlodzimierz Goldianczuk was conveyed to the Royal Infirmary, Chester suffering from (1) concussion, (2) head injuries, (3) superficial leg wounds. The two members of an RAF lorry, F/Lt Sussman and F/Sgt Bradstock which was struck by the aircraft were killed instantly. The aircraft’s base was RAF Poulton.”

I have finally discovered the details of his accident .

On a recce to the IG Farben chemical works at Ludwigshafen, Fordson 15 cwt van RAF 161483 driven by 529102 F/Sgt Corr crashed at Wolf Sweiler. Aylward was killed and 1354834 Cpl Scott was admitted to the 140th US Evacuation hospital at St Wendel
