Francis Dennis Atkin 1694239 | attached to Number 5760 MSU | Was admitted seriously ill to Number 62 MFH at Shillong on 30 November 1944 suffering with lympho sarcoma and a mediating tumour. Dangerously ill on 4 March 1945, he was evacuation to the U.K. and admitted to Doncaster Royal Infirmary. He entered into a mediastinalLymphoma coma and was transferred to St Barts hospital in London. Readmitted to Doncaster Royal Infirmary on 5 June where he died

George Byron McLean Lucas 12372 | had been injured in the crash of Catalina A24-32 at sea at approximately 13:00 Hours on 2 May 1944 in which the pilot, S/L G.W. Coventry 457 was killed. He died at Number 3 RAAF hospital, Concord, of respiratory and cardiac faliure
