July 18th 1945, “No.411081 LAC Williams, E. – D.R. met with a fatal accident on the Shrewsbury – High Ercall road whilst on duty. Flying Officer Evans, No.34 M.U. was detailed to carry out a Formal Investigation.”
July 19th 1945, “Coroner’s inquest on LAC Williams was adjourned until 27th July, 1945.”
July 27th 1945, “Adjourned inquest on LAC Williams was held at Wellington, Salop. Verdict – Accidental death.”
