JOHNSON, Frank - the Gloucester Citizen newspaper of August 3rd 1945 has a small article, as follows:

AIRMAN'S MYSTERY DEATH
Saying that the incident would require considerable investigation, the Tenby coroner on Thursday adjourned an inquest on Sergt. Frank Johnson (20), R.A.F., of Elsley Road, Battersea.
During daylight flying near Tenby Flight-Sergt. Peter Carter and other members of the crew saw Johnson, the wireless operator, slump in his seat, bleeding badly.
The plane landed at once, but Johnson died after a blood transfusion. He had a five inch wound through his thigh.

I can't see any further reports as to what the eventual inquest found.

Regards

Simon
