Melvin Kershaw 1147616 , attached to HQ DAF , was seriously injured in an off duty road accident at 12:00 Hours on 4 August when a collision occurred between a jeep and a staff car near Villach. He was admitted no Number 1 CCS where he died later the same day

Emrys Williams 1154386 , attached to RAF Lagens, died in an off duty accident whilst on leave in Furnas. Try as I might, I have been utterly unable, from multiple sources, to ascertain the cause of the accident. A court of enquiry was held by S/Ldr Gotham and F/Lt Lewis into his death, but this has not yet been traced
