LAC Herbert Edgar Davis (38 years old), died suddenly at Grove Airfield (Karup), Denmark, just before a leave back to England to get married.

Horace Ramsdall Chance 62075 , was fatally injured at 22:00 Hours at the Eggleston Lodge Bend on the Melton Road when he took a bend to quickly on his motorcycle. His pillion passenger,, Kathleen Vickers, WLA survived unhurt
