Harold Henry Preston 1179858 , attachec to Number 85 EU , was killed off duty, his body being found at 21:40 Hours on the railway line between Mortsel and Ouse, his death being ruled accidental

Sydney Frederick Hetherington 186360 , died at a VJ Day celebration given by the Maharaja of Jodphur at Nalsamand Lake. He from a height of 20 Feet into 3 Feet of water and died from head injuries within 3 minutes .

Derek Viney Smith 116688 | attached to Number 106 PDC | went missing in Mosquito NF19 MM624 of 53 Squadron on patrol on 6/7 November 1944. Reported captured by IRCC telegram, and liberated, he died at 21:10 Hours in the Queen Victoria hospital, East Grinstead, of post operative complications
