Hello All,

Sorry that it has been a while since I was last on the forum.
The reason being that I have had to come to my local library to use their computer for the first time.
I had a major problem with my own computer, it kept shutting down, repairers can do nothing with it so I hope all data is still available for future transfere to a new one when I get one. First thing though is a triple bi-pass op on Friday, so will not be back again until at least some date in March.

All the very best
Alex

PS - No need to reply to this post as I will not be reading it from home :(

Alex, when you do get a way to read this, know we are all thinking good thoughts for you on Friday. I look forward to the future posts.

Holy cow Alex, best of luck. Mum had one a year ago, no problems for her, take care.

Alex,

Sounds as though the computer could do with a triple bi-pass as well!

All the best for your Friday op.

Hello All,
Do we know what the position is with regard to the Unaccounted List(s)? These were started by the late, great, Henk Welting. On his demise Alex Smart subsequently took over the duties of alerting the forum to dates/names, etc, (from just which database I am not sure). Alex simultaneously had two problems. One, medical, from which I understand he is recovering, and Two, a total computer crash (I am not aware of the state – if any – of recovery from this).
What I am simply asking is – ‘Where do we go from here?’. Who has the Master Database? How, and by whom, can it be (a) accessed, and (b) amended in the light of subsequent researches?

I thought I saw Alex post on the 12OCH forum yesterday, so hopefully both he and his computer are back up and running, both literally and figuratively!

Simon
