Good morning to all members.

My name is Adriano Silva Baumgartner. I have been working during the last 6 years onto a major book-tribute to ALL Brazilians that have flown or served with the Royal Air Force in WW2. There will be a special chapter to those born in England and other countries who sailed from Brazil to enlist, as well. So far, the tribute has become a 6 volumes work....covering dozens of airmen, from a simple LAC up to a full Wing Commander awarded with the DSO and DFC.

ANY help onto the subject, from former relatives or relatives of aircrew that may have flown with a Brazilian on his crew, is most welcomed.

Adriano.

I have some information on a Pilot born in Brazil who served in Bomber Command 50 Squadron. It is very scant, his brother served as a Major in the Indian Army.
I will send to you what I have on your e mail
