The K Files show that No. 35 Squadron Fairey Gordon K1775 was involved in an incident at 3 ATC on 2nd May 1935. However, the RAF Museum has advised that there is not an AM Form 1180 for that date for that aircraft, although there is one for K1774 (which it has sent me).

The squadron ORB has no entries between 24/09/1934 and 01/07/1935 although it does show that it moved to Catfoss on 19/08/1935 for annual firing and bombing (possibly suggesting that it was not at 3 ATC in May).

Does anyone have any other resources which may help to establish which of these aircraft was involved?

Regards

Pete

Pete,

K1174 was an Armstrong Whitworth Atlas (TM), struck off charge 7-5-1931! (K-File/90).

Apologies ... that was a typo .... it should have read K1774. I have amended my original post.
