Found this photo online when researching incident further. All I had ay time was Serial!

Pilot of Bulldog was F/O Frank George Laughton Smith of 41 Sqn #29181 and he forced landed due to "engine revolutions had dropped"

Shot down by Me 109s of 4./JG 77 into Sogne Fjord while leading two other 42 Squadron Beauforts (inc N1159) against shipping in the Fjord. Sgt Perrin is buried in Stavne Cemetery, Trondheim.
