Thanks to a link on the canadiansoldiers.com Forum, I have just learned that the Canadian Directorate of History and Heritage has greatly increased the number of books available on-line for no charge, see http://www.dnd.ca/dhh/collections/books/engraph/home_e.asp?cat=6
Some interesting titles that are hard to come by in paper these days include "Aerodrome of Democracy: Canada and the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan 1939-1945" by Hatch, and "A History of Canadian Naval Aviation, 1918-1962" by Kealy and Russel.
