Hi,
I have two logbooks for this gentleman, who originally flew as second pilot for Imperial Airways, then when war broke out flew civil aircraft to France, the Channel Islands, and then Stockholm presumably with NAL. After qualifying as a First Pilot he flew for some time on the Takoradi shuttle and then as an instructor on twins in South Africa. Post-war he flew for BOAC.
Can anyone advise where might be the best place to pass these logbooks on to? The information on wartime flights is a primary resource for RAF researchers, which suggests I should donate them to the RAF Museum, but he also flew for civil concerns as well, and I would want civil researchers to be able to access the logbooks.
Unfortunately I am missing his first logbook.
Thanks,
