On Monday 21/01/1946 his parents received a letter from him to say that he
had received his release papers. On the Wednesday, they received news
that he was dangerously ill and on Sunday, a cablegram to say that he had
died after an operation in the military hospital at Delhi.

UPGRADE to Joseph Morris Isaacs 933678, invalided to the U.K. after contracting illness in Burma, he died in St. Thomas hospital, London of cardiac faliure brought on by pulmonary endartitis and arteriosclerosis
